Tunesië, dichterbij gelegen dan velen misschien vermoeden - vanuit Brussel is Tunis minder ver dan de Oekraïense oorlogsgebieden - staat op de rand van de totale ineenstorting, zowel economisch, budgettair als politiek.
Het publieke goed bij uitstek is de bescherming van de lichamelijke integriteit van elke mens, veiligheid dus. In de straten van stad of dorp mag geen geweld regeren. Het is hoog tijd om dit principe te mondialiseren.
